Everyone who knows me knows that I'm obsessed with tea and I probably drink at least 6 cups/mugs per day. Recently I've realised that for me it's so much more than just a delicious beverage. It's warming, comforting and makes me relaxed and happy. Almost like a little moment of self-care.
I like all kinds of tea (or almost. I'm looking at you, Lapsang). In the morning black tea (preferably chai) with oat milk and green tea without milk. If I need a boost I also turn to yerba mate. During the afternoons I like black or green tea and spicy herbal blends, my favourites are from YogiTea and Pukka. YogiTea Classic is probably my favourite tea ever. In the evening I love some chamomile tea with oat milk which I find so relaxing. If I have a period with sleeping problems I also love herbal blends of valerian, chamomile and levender.
The picture shows an especially pleasant teatime with turmeric chai tea, medjool dates and raw chocolate covered goji berries, enjoyed whilst I was going through some notes from my yoga teacher training. Little moments like this are everything.
